We have visited Meijer Gardens several times and would recommend to anyone, the Christmas tree exhibit and the railway garden. It is so well done and unique with historical and geographic information about each regional tree. A must see for the holidays!

I live in Grand Rapids and work in a college that is just across the road of Meijer Gardens. I love this place so much I have kept my membership for over 10 years. Recently my mother visited me from China. I took her there. As soon as we walked out of the door, she asked me when I would... More

This is a impeccably manicured sculpture park whose staff take great pride in it's appearance. There is something to see around every corner and the guides are incredibly well informed. They have a great children's area with lots of activities to do. The focal point being Leonardo's Horse which is incredible in size as it is in masterpiece. A must... More

My husband and I joined the "Grandparents" membership. It is so much fun to take the grandchildren as there are many areas for kids to be involved and use up energy. It is a great place to picnic, even in the rain as there are tables that are covered. Hiking trails abound and the foliage is always changing. The sculpture... More

Have been to this garden many times, so many things to see and do. Something for all ages. We were here for this visit for the annual butterfly event. Wonderful. Kids fascinated by seeing butterflies up close. I loved the orchid display. Beautiful walking trails by waterlands. Nice neeting rooms. Great cafe to meet friends. Enjoyable sculptures inside and out.... More

We recently visited the Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park again. This was in the last week of 2016 so it was cold outside. We walked a good share of the outside trails looking at the sculptures located along the paths. I saw the Japanese Garden area for the first time. This was really interesting due to the difference the winter... More

Meijer Gardens in the winter for northerners is a reminder that winter is not forever. Over the Christmas holidays we were treated to Christmas trees from around the world. Also their railroad village of Grand Rapids was a treat for young and old.

We enjoy every visit, just wish it did not cost so much. The trees from around the world at Christmas are wonderful, avoid member night that is insane will never do that again. Butterflies every year are great!

It's a beautiful display of lighted trees from around the world. Once you see it, you have seen it-same display every year.

My husband and I treated our children and grandchildren from Virginia to the Christmas display and lunch at Frederick Meijer Gardens. Our grandkids loved seeing all of the Christmas trees decorated for numerous countries. They also enjoyed the railroad exhibit and tropical garden. The food in the cafe was delicious. What a wonderful experience to share over Christmas vacation.
