Fun for Kids

The GRCM is a great place to take children to experience new things, to act out roles, and have a great time with other children.

It's an ok children's museum for an hour or two. Our kids are probably too old for it now. They got bored pretty quick. Not really worth going after age 6.

Our kids loved it! We had a blast doing all the activities together and watching them learn was so fun! I love all children are able to play and take part in the activities. Keep in mind that your kids may max out at 1-1 1/2 hours. It is small but a lot of fun. If your kids are older... More

Enjoyed recently with my 7 yr old grandson. Gives a child a fun, interactive experience along with a much-needed chance to burn off excess energy! Observed children as young as crawler stage to kids 7-10. If traveling with youngsters thoroughly bored with the adult schedules..take this in! Quite creative and geared to how kids play and use imagination

Our kids loved the museum. There are many, many things to do for kids of all ages. The facility was very well kept.

I took my 2 year old daughter here when we were in town visiting family. They have a separate area for infants and toddlers so they won't get over-run by bigger kids. My daughter is really into playing kitchen and they have a large play kitchen in the toddler area with lots of pots and play food. She also enjoyed... More

We enjoy taking my 4yo to this museum when we are in Grand Rapids! It's always clean and well-staffed, and the exhibits rotate out to keep things fresh! We love the "town" area located downstairs - they have everything from a car to drive to a full grocery store to shop at. We also love the bubbles! There is no... More

This museum is designed for hands on activities for toddlers to pre-teens. It's a bit expensive and there are not a ton of staff available, but it's a place for rainy or cold days when you have a bunch of kids that need to get out. Not quite a great place, especially when you've been to lots of other cities... More

With the changing displays and fun activities, the Children's Museum is always a new adventure. The staff is friendly and the museum is clean. It's a wonderful way to spend a cold, snowy day!
