Fun time for all!

This has had many updates and is a great place to learn things about animals. This includes Zoo school in the summer for kids.

Not much has changed at this zoo in over 20 years except the addition of attraction you need to pay for now. Food is expensive so bring a lunch. Missing the stingrays after last years tragedy. Wish they'd add more exotic animals.

Took our granddaughter here while visiting. Not a world renowned zoo by any means. They have done a good job for what they have to work with. Be aware if walking to bring a good stroller. From the entrance to the top is a pretty good incline. There is a trolley to the top as an option. Good place for... More

A clean zoo and well maintained. Impressive exhibits (Penguins, Monkey Island, etc) A bit on the small side for a city this size. Many other experiences (zip line, funicular)

This zoo is clean, with helpful and friendly workers and interesting sites for all ages. There are zip lines that are available and have wonderful views. This zoo is perfect for an all-day family outing, with all types of animals and a large animal petting area for all ages.

Come for the monkeys, stay for the penguins! Its a great little zoo with great people working there who are very helpful, and there are tons of events going on and a ton of fun for kids.

It's a decent zoo. I especially like the parrots. Make sure you walk up the hill to watch the tiger.

Took my 54 yr old husband and 7 yr old grandson..we all had a great time. I have trouble with extensive walking on hard surfaces, yet had very little problems...exhibits considerate of animals, I believe most are rescue...interactive to give little ones more to do...there is a rope "walking bridge" AND a "treetop" walking adventure for the whole family. Not... More

This zoo is spectacular. It is nestled on the side of a hill. It's almost completely shaded by trees. This kept the park cool and in turn more animals were out and about. The kids loved the bird house that you could do into.
