This park is incredible. Awesome nature center and nature walk, docks for fishing off of, the pool is always clean, the mini golf is affordable, dogs are welcome, park rangers are present, play ground is clean and always has a play pal for your kiddo. The shuffle board is well kept up...the water is not swimmable but that is much... More

Serene experience....had the park paths to myself. Also, enjoyed watching the many kite boarders in the day sail area. The new layout of parking and natural landscape areas with improved bike paths made this a most enjoyable ride.

We go every year to see if it has changed. It looks pretty much the same as twenty year ago. Still one of the premier beaches in the tri counties area.

There is a very nice nature center. We took a tour on the shuttle. Then we went on a guided tour. We took the shuttle to the point out on the water. There is a cement walk, bike path that I will have to try sometime.

Since I love walking in nature, this is the perfect place for me. It's only about 15/20 minutes from my house, so I can get there quickly. The main trail is easy to walk, and there is a Nature Center if that is something you are interested in. There is also a splash park for the kids, and a very... More

Went here on a Saturday afternoon for the first time when there was a heat advisory. A soccer team was taking up the whole beach. People were playing loud music everywhere. The water seemed dirty and there was something that looked like bird poop all over the water. This was not worth the $10 admission, and I don't think it'd... More

We visited the splash pad, beach/lake, and pool. It was very nice. Everything was close and easy to get to. The kids are a little older, so the splash pad was short lived, but when she was younger, she loved it. We headed to the lake. It was nice to swim, but the closed the beach after about ten minutes... My family has enjoyed this park for 40 years and has watched continuous improvements make it even more appealing. Metropark staff are always friendly and helpful, the children enjoy the playscapes at Tot Lot, and the squirt zone is a true favorite. It is a great area for all ages and in the last couple of years became dog friendly!... More
