The Gilmore truly offers something for everyone. There are hundreds of cars on site and they are well laid out. The exhibits, old car dealerships, gas stations, etc., are not to be missed. A first class car collection.

My husband builds classic cars as a hobby and has wanted to go to this museum for several years. There is so much to see. We were there about three hours and barely walked through most of the different barns. And, as a proud owner of a Hudson, he was thrilled to see an entire building devoted to the Hudson!!!... More

This place is a hidden treasure. You won't believe what a complete and professional collection they have. This is not a pole barn with some old cars in it. This is a first class educational and entertaining destination. You won't be disappointed.

I got the two day pass and it still wasn't enough time for me. They have one of a kinds and a lot of old tv classics in their collection. If you like old cars at all this place has it all.

We travel back and forth between Ann Arbor, MI & Chicagoland a number of times a year. There was an article about the Gilmore Auto Museum in our local paper so we put the museum on our list of possible things to visit on our way home. On our way home from last year's Cub game (We go to at... More

In December about half of the museum collection is closed but there is still enough to see to fill a day. This is the best car collection I have seen. It is amazing the number of Franklin's, Lincoln's, Model A Fords and Cadillac's you can see and many other vehicles too. It is so nice that unlike most car museums... More

This was my first time to the Gilmore. Everyone I had talked to that had been there told me I would love it and they were right! Had a nasty snow storm going on all day so there was virtually no one there! Was great because we could really get a good look at the cars without the crowds. I... More

The Gilmore is one of the finest auto museums anywhere. The vehicles and the descriptions, as well as how they are displayed make it interesting for anyone. Wonderful photography exhibits too, and the buildings are modeled after historic dealerships for different lines of autos of the past and present.

We have been going to Gilmores for years and it is so exciting to see the progression through the years. If you have never been there, you will be shocked and amazed that a museum of this caliber exist in the middle of corn fields! If you plan on visiting do not plan a quick stop...way to much to see... Our Girl Scout troop of teenagers enjoyed a short trip to the museum. None of us were car fanatics, but we all found something of interest. There are lots of neat history nuggets here!
