Just a sign

Nothing more than a sign and not very obvious at that. It's on the east side of Martin Luther King Blvd. between Jolly and Vans Court. It's actually right next to Vans Ct.

There is literally nothing here to see or do. A true disappointment. Perhaps the city could work to improve their visitors committee and get mobile users pointed to places to highlight the best places to visit.

Not easy to see going northbound. When you get out to read sign it is written on both sides (the story covers both side). In winter back side is hard to get to read because you have to walk through snow.

It's amazing that Lansing has such a colorful history. To me it was not just a sign, it was a connection to history and to a pivotal time in Mr. X's life.

It would have been great if this site had been preserved more but there's nothing there now but a sign. Only worth a look if you're in the area for other reasons.
