OldTown is on the North side of downtown Lansing, but was separated from downtown when Lansing Community College was built in the 20th Century. Its not an easy walk from downtown to Old Town, but can be done. It's best to take the river trail starting from the Lansing convention center. Once you get there, you will find lots of... More

I grew up not far from Old Town so I love going there and seeing all the improvements that have been made to the area. Meat is a great restaurant; Cravings Popcorn is the best; and the shops are unique and fun. They have festivals and fun activities during the summer so be sure to check their schedule.

I'm a native of Lansing though I currently live in the Twin Cities area. I couldn't imagine spending this day - the 2016 Pride March anywhere else. My soon to be X is one of the founders of LAHR and was its President for the first 11 years of LAHR's existence. He may consider the Twin Cities area his home... More

I went to an estate sale store which was next door to a Christmas store which was across from a Bradleys (who was serving wine and snacks). A quick visit turned into a very good time! I even ran into a friend to shop with.

Ate dinner at the Creole, where the staff was nothing short of amazing, and the food was excellent! Meat BBQ, and Cosmos Pizza were fantastic as well!

We went out on a great Nov Saturday afternon walked around town and around the fish ladder. Lots of people enjoying the old area fishing, walking and visiting the nice shops. We enjoyed the art galleries and shops and the river views. Enjoy

It is a nice place to walk and visit some unique shops, great to take the pulse of the city and to get some taste of the city. It is also hosting some events.

Its easy to miss this area if your in Lansing, or downtown or on the river, unless you follow it north, or you go to an event here. Looks nice, but I think usually not much culture, and a lot of the businesses seem to carry similar stuff.
