Gorgeous views. I went once when it was clear out, and another time in the fog. Both times were beautiful. When it's clear, you can see for miles along Superior's shore. When it was foggy, I watched the fog roll through the trees below. The hike is easy, steep in some parts, but it's short.

Beautiful view and very easy to access! Can get a little crowded on nice days but everyone you meet is so friendly.

Sugarloaf is only 5-10 minutes North of Marquette, MI and offers easy parking, and well maintained trails including stairs with railings and more or less aggressive trail options. The trail can be slick in winter, but usually is easily managed - put on your yak traks! Beautiful views reward you - definitely worth the 20 minute walk up the hill.... More

Sugarloaf Mountain is a great workout and fun for all. There are lots of stairs to climb but well worth the trip. The view is spectacular!!

This has a great view once you make the top. It's a pretty good hike with two paths to choose from. We went up twice so far and took the easier path both times up and the more difficult path down once. The easy path is longer but a nice path with a mix of dirt path and man made... More

if you want an amazing view of the area, Sugarloaf Mountain is a must. It's a quick visit, but beautiful and worth the time to stop by. I was there for colors, but would think this is a great spot in any season.

An enjoyable hike for all. Be sure to take your camera and a bottle of water is nice as well. You don't need to be a true hiker to be able to walk up Sugarloaf but some physical capacity is required. Very enjoyable!

Nice place to visit. A bit of a climb/walk but the view is the reward. Take some water and a camera with you

We went the second to last weekend of October. The colors were absolutely perfect. The easy hike isn't that easy...not handicap accessible but easy enough for children and elders. Very beautiful views and fun times!
