Your Thimbleberry source

Best place for Thimbleberry jam. Plenty of other jams and baked goods. We stop here to stock up every season.

One-of-a-kind shop plus great cookies!
Aug 2020
This place had a little bit of everything, including about 12 different varieties of homemade cookies! We are so happy we stopped by and met the nice owner. His daughter is an amazing artist who also had handmade candles and postcards for sale. What a treat!

Favorite stopping place in the Keweenaw

We are regulars here each summer. There is a bit of everything here. A small building with antiques next to the main building. In the main store there are some UP themed books, hand made wooden spoons, alpaca yarn, veggies from the owners farm, fresh baked goods and the jams...there are over 70 flavores he makes. I love to go there because there are some you can't get at the other places that sell local jam. There is berry syrup and local honey too. They are not officially open in the winter but if the car is parked out front you can knock and buy some of the good stuff inside.

A cute little gift/bakery/what not shop
Jul 2016 • Couples
This shop was suggested to us by some of the locals for a good place to get Thimbleberry Jam (a northern Michigan specialty) It is right on the main highway when driving to Copper Harbor, maybe one half hour away.
The shop itself is an old building that houses a variety of interesting "whatnot" things, always fun for browsing....kind of a soup to nuts type environment. The aroma when you come in the door is wonderful as they also sell baked goods (obviously baked on the premises.
This is the type of stop that makes traveling through some of the smaller towns of northern Michigan a fun experience. Stop here if you're in the area!

Great place

Terrific! The bread is wonderful; the pies are even better if that's possible. Proprietor could not be more helpful.
