So animated place, where I feel alive to see the mix culture of daily lives of Newars from Bhaktapur. One side people are busy worshipping the deities of Ginormous Temple and on the other side, people sell fruits and vegetables. Honking is little disturbing otherwise...More

There are so many old buildings in Bhaktapur and every building has its own story. I love some of the artwork of the buildings.

How could the huge statues guarding Nyatapola Temple leave anyone insensitive? Wander around Taumadhi Square at dusk, when the men of Nyatapola Temple start singing and praying, sat on the square, next to vegetable sellers and playing children. Simply magic!

This is one of the famous place to visit in Bhaktapur. Bollywood movie baby is also shooted here. Beautiful heritage place.

The huge temples around the square are massive and still standing after the quake. With the families walking around and the children playing and square surrounded by temples and restaurants, Taumadhi Square reminded me of the piazzas of old Italian villages.
