This mosque reminded me of the Mezquita in Cordoba, Spain, except with carved wooden columns rather than ones of jasper, onyx, marble and granite. The carvings on the wooden columns are very beautiful and interesting.

Went here on our own, then went back with our guide the following day. Well worth a visit. Plan to spend 15 to 30 minutes here to soak up the history and enjoy the vibe.
