This is a burial site which looks quite simple. A marble thumb is decorated in carved scripture requesting forgiveness fir the sins committed on this earth. Site discovered fairly recently.

You walk down a flight of steep steps to see the crypt. You turn on a light. It is dank. The room is undecorated.

Visited May-2015. This is the original crypt of Timur. The story has it that after Timur's death, the Gur-e-Amir in Samarkand was requisitioned for his tomb since it was already built or near completion.
