This was maybe my favorite place here. Ok the summer palace is imposing, the mausoleums are well redone, but this simple courtyard with very large trees, lots of birds and people worshipping in the mosque ( outdoor or indoor) is just a very pleasant place...More

Here you can visit the simple crypt in which Tamerlane wished to be burried. Instead his jade tomb is in a magnificent family mausoleum in Samarkand. Also the restored mausoleum of Jehangir, Tamerlan's son, is well worh visiting.

If you are here or going to or from Samarakand to Bukhara you can pay a visit.Old place as most of the places this is also partly rebuild. As this is part of history must visit.
