I am a bit confused from Ceibal. There are lots of things on map of the area but you can see or imagine only some of them. Mostly its a jungle. Nice jungle And with everything what belongs to jungle: mosquitoes, ants, spiders, monkeys, bugs,...More

This place is worth the trip. The people are super nice and the place is shocking. This was an amazing experience for my girlfriend and me. #PerhapsYouNeedALittleGuatemala

Ceibal is a medium-sized site to visit fairly close to Sayaxche. It's worth the taxi ride there. While the site-core is not enormous, there's a lot of hiking to do around to visit the other architectural groups. Bring bugspray.

We approached Ceibal by river which was, in itself interesting and enjoyable with lots of different birds and the occasional crocodile. (I believe it is possible to approach by road). The climb to the site through the jungle from the river was steep and, on...More
