easy to view along the highway

If you pull off m28 you can view it from across the highway. I'd suggest you not cross the road due to traffic. It's viewable from across the highway. Worth seeing

This one is fun and a must see. You can walk along the source river prior to fall as well as walk underneath the fall.

Absolutely great in the winter. A little more of a tougher walk then some of the other local falls. If you're traveling to these falls make sure you also don't miss Memorial Falls. If you found out about these falls from other internet postings, be aware that to get to them now you need to drive past the staircases on... More

The hike to the top of the falls is easy and beautiful. The far more rigorous hike to the bottom of the Falls is very worthwhile. Beautiful. Be sure to bring a walking stick if not trekking poles. The rock escarpment makes this one of the best waterfalls in the area! We went on to Twin falls from there, which... More

We were able to walk from the motel we stayed at to the trail that takes you back to the falls it's a bit rugged but if you take your time one would have no problem getting there.

Back in the woods, with a trail that includes stairs and lots of ups and downs. If you want to access this one, park on Washington Street by the little tan brick building, then walk across to the stairs on the other side of Munising Ave. The stairs closest to the fork in the road goes to Tannery Falls. The... More

Good moderate hike to these falls. Pretty landscape on the journey and lovely falls with a good, but not massive amount of water.

Just a pleasant little hike along a well marked path to the Falls. I enjoyed the trees and plants along the way. Falls are not spectacular, but easy to get to and certainly picturesque.

The falls themselves are beautiful! You can hardly believe it's in Michigan. The trail, however, was very hard to find. We ended up taking a secondary trail to get there which was super muddy and confusing. I don't know how we even ended up finding the falls. However, the beauty was definitely worth it!

We finally found the start of this trail and the parking area. The parking area is right as you turn onto Washington Street & fits about 3 cars. The trail, not marked, started at a wooden staircase on the side of the road. About a 10 minute walk but a rougher trail in spots.
