I lived much of my young adult life in the UP. The Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is one of the many ‘must see’ attractions north of the Mackinaw Bridge. The best way for us aging seniors to appreciate the splendor of Lake Superior is to...More
A very interesting and lovely cruise. If you go in October dress warmly if weather is cool and breezy as it can be very cold in areas of the boat that are not protected. The best place to be on the boat if you are...More
The trip is a MUST! Leo and the rest of the crew that guided us (on 10/13/18 1:00pm) were incredibly knowledgeable! The Captain was funny and informative! Leo was kind and all were professional. I highly recommend going out of your way for this spectacular...More
Great team on the cruise to tell us all about the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Sometimes corny but informative 2 1/2 hour cruise takes you to the beautiful rocky shores and beaches. Since we were there in early October, there was a bonus of the...More

Rain will not cause the cruise to cancel, rough water could though. When we were there in September, a few trees were just beginning to change. I’d say your probably going to be near peak. It’s a great cruise. Don’t miss it.
I would take the spray falls cruise. It is a little longer of a cruise but you get to see some beautiful falls. I took the sunset spray falls cruise and everything is even more beautiful at that time of day.
