We hiked down and it looked great but we weren't there long before a lot of boats showed up to ruin the ambiance. Wear tennis shoes for hike down .. Not for the faint of heart hikers.. It was steep and times when you were climbing.

Dont attempt to visit this beach by land. Visit by boat. Get there early in the morning as by the afternoon in peak season it is too crowded. Boats must anchor off the beach and you can swim to shore (less than 100 metres) or use one of the small inflatable dingys. Worth seeing but I wouldn't hurry back.

We stay in Vis and I am decided to explore this Stiniva Cove recommend by Tripadvisor (Thank you). This was one off the best destination in my life. From Milna where we stay I need with the car 15 minutes to parking place for Stiniva cove. Then I need at least 15 minutes to reach the button off this cove.... More

the bay was nice, but way too many boats and people around for the small by, and now the boats are not allowed to get too close as it is sealed off to swimmers, so you better be a good swimmer to swim into the bay. i think it might be nice during low season, but during high season it... More

There is no denying the beauty of Stiniva Cove, but it was the only place on Vis where I felt overwhelmed by crowds. We arrived by boat, and it was difficult finding a place to anchor. We ended up anchoring well outside the cove and swimming ashore. There is a small snack bar on the beach selling beer, soda, water,... More

Following a night in Komiza, we headed to Stiniva Cove in the morning for a swim. We had expected it to be very busy, but it was actually fairly quiet, presumably because of the difficult hike downhill to the cove (about 1Km hike, but rocky!). Good shoes were definitely needed to get there, as recommended in the guidebook. Others had... More

Just beautiful! The walk down isn't easy. We managed it in Teva sandals but it wasn't the safest thing I've ever done. But the walk is beautiful, the cove is stunning and the bar/snack place incredibly friendly. A tough walk back up the hill too with very little shade, but worth every second. Do it! Just carefully!

Now it's a stunning beach and 300-400 years ago it was a cave. So it is breathtaking view when you're in the shallow sea, just resting, filling your batteries with that natural miracle. Must see, definitely. If you're coming by car than you'll have 20 min of rough way, and if you're coming by the sea, you can't approach directly... More

We arrived by foot, parking at the top of the cliff and hiking down. This was not a joke! We are very athletic, and it took us some time picking our way down the rocks. I don't know how some people did it in flip-flops. Other people arrive by boat, but you can get some amazing pictures from the trail.... More
