Great tour of Hvar island. We had the privilege to have a tour with the owner of the company who is a great guy. The amount of stories that he has to tell are very worth the money. We also visited some "hidden" parts where he is good with the locals and we get to hear their side of story while also trying local food, The Defenders are old and they seem beaten up but even like that it's a robust and special vehicle to be in, especially to anyone who knows cars.
ALL recommendations for this, even tho it was a basic Hvar trip. I believe Vis trips are even better.

It was an awesome and fun experience, for my girlfriend, dog and me. Driving around island of Vis and exploring hidden military tunnels, bunkers and submarine bay. I would recommend it to everyone!!!

Absolutely fabulous. Highly recommended. Tour guide is full of knowledgeable and so passionate. Absolutely well worth doing thanks to our tour guide Filip on Katarina cruises, who organised for us at the last minute as we had 2 hrs to spare. We went to places, which we didn't know that existed and wouldn't have got to without their help and knowledge. Do your self a favour and book it. Tremendous experience.

I’ve been to all 50 states and many other countries and in my opinion nothing beats the variety of the US. Perhaps it’s a bias to the home turf or the easy access to some of the most beautiful places on earth whatever the case besides tropical jungles this country has everything you need to satisfy your desire for adventure.

Tommy is an amazingly knowledgeable, charming and enthusiastic tour guide who shared his passion of the history of Vis & Croatia in general.
His tour is in no way scripted, he deftly flits from story to story changing things up as people ask questions or requests that he takes a deeper dive.
I highly recommend you take a tour, you’ll love every second!

My son and I went on the military tour around Vis, our guide Tomislav was informative and enthusiastic. We travelled around the island visiting secretive locations accompanied by historic tales. The military history is so unique to the island of Vis, if you do go on holiday there it's almost a crime not to take the tour, you'll definitely be missing out on this fabulous experience.

What a fantastic historic excursion. Nino took us all over the island to see Fort George, little chapel with outstanding views, fields of tanks, trucks and field guns and the amazing submarine base and nuclear bunker.

This is a storytelling history tour and Tomislav (our guide) was incredibly enthusiastic and friendly, telling a story for every place on the island we went to.
One tour will most certainly not be enough to cover all the history of Vis and things to see but if you can't decide which tour / tourist agency to go with you can't go wrong with Visit.
The awards and reviews are absolutely justified.

Went on the history tour. Good communication with Tomislav prior to booking. Reasonable rates. Tomislav gave good information all the way. We went all the to the highest point with amazing views. So glad I did this and would thoroughly recommend this company.

hellooo i was on the island of vis back in 2018 on my big red custom harley , from split ,,i met a chap who took us on a tunnel tour ,,when we first met he looked at me as though i was a re incarnation , ( lol ) we started chatting and it turned out his wife had a brand new baby and saw me /my bike ..leaveing the ferry into vis ,,a few days later we met up ,,,re tunnel tour ,,, realy cool tour ,, loved it ,,,,thanks ,,,but ....slightly off tour i stayed at motorbike club house mk furija thanks to fella at petrol garage and fella at fire station ,,,thank you fellas ,,,hope you got my post cards ,,,there was another motor cycle club on the other side of the island ....who are they ? name of club ... ?to contact them ,,,thank you ...terry from nottingham /uk ..

Hi, September is low season and as Island history & Military tour our most popular tour and we are running it with 4 Military Land Rover Defenders, there is no need to reserve a tour. Just let me know two days in advance.
