gorgeous state park. Nice wooded sites, but stairs down to beach open up to sun and Lake Michigan. Make reservations early and view sites prior to stay on DNR website.

Wonderful park, very clean and well looked after. Lots of great hacking tracks. And a beautiful beach.unfortunetly it was a little cold the day I visited.dogs allowed in certain areas on a lead.

lots of shade, best beach, not far from town. Little bit of a walk to the beach but its worth it .Showers and bathroom kept up nice.

Yes, certain times. Love the trails! The dunes create some shelter from the winds of the lake and the views are breathtaking. I would call The park for specifics.

I would agree with not always but depends time of year. There is lots of hiking & beautiful dunes. Enjoy!

There is a restroom and changing area in the swim beach parking lot. From the parking lot there is a short trek down some stairs (or a ramp) to get to the beach.
