Beautiful clean beach. Does get crowded on the weekends so get there early as the parking lot isn't all that big.

I visited New Buffalo beach during off season. I can imagine the fun times in this lovely location during the summer. Soft white sand, a spectacular view, a dune with stairs to ease your climb to the top, restrooms, snack bar (in season) and FREE...More

It is not crowded during off season and parking is free. Otherwise it is a mad house with so high fees for parking that I just don't come here becasue of it.

Gorgeous beach. Only complaint is that they charge $12 to park! Can't do that when I am only going there for my lunch.

We grew up near Lake Michigan, so getting to come back is always a great time. We never knew how much we would miss the lakes til we moved away. (mistake?) Anyways, we were here on a lovely sunny day with lots of nice rollers...More

The beach is very clean. If you don't want to use the beach you can walk the stores in New Buffalo. Cute town.

Beautiful dunes and the worst beach in Michigan. Dirty sand and too much bird poop and way overcrouded due to overrating or just lack of places for the population. We considered buying here 10 years ago and prices became dumb. So glad we did not,...More

I would guess parking lot is aprox. 100 yards from the Lake Michigan beach, with a wooden path on top of the sand for walking ease for most of the way. There is a boat channel and somewhat of a beach that is closer but is... More

I don't think you need to pay to go in to the beach, but You have to pay for car park during the summer season.
