This is a great place to spend some time learning about the history of the area. We did not take the tour of the lighthouse because we have been here before but it's worth doing because you can go all the way to the top...More

How amazing is it to visit Michigan Oldest Lighthouse! Not only does the park offer easy access to the Lighthouse you can also walk the shores of Lake Michigan and imagine the ships cruising in the shoals of the storms of the lake

Very easy to get to from Northport. A different kind of lighthouse. Much smaller then most. Had a good scavenger hunt for little kids.

We live here yet this is only the third visit in 30 years. The place is beautiful, inspiring, and educational. Weather was perfect lake was perfect summer Lake Michigan. Bring the kids, use the beach, camp or just spend an hour or two relaxing.

One of the stops as part of Lake Michigan Circle Tour. By the time we reached here around sunset, the lighthouse was closed. Went as close to the water as possible. It was kind of a swamp with lot of bugs so couldn't stay for...More
