We enjoyed our stay at this park. The campsites were roomy, ours was next to the bathhouse so extra large. The bathrooms and showers were cleaned daily and were always clean. The toilets can be a bit tricky to flush but nothing difficult:) We rented...More

This is a nice state park on Black Lake. Some of the sites are right on the shoreline ( these are reserved quickly, make them in January). There are showers , and modern bathrooms in the main part (not near shoreline campsites, ...short walk). Campground...More

What a beautiful and quiet setting. We camped on site 16 right beside Black Lake. The sunsets we're great and the peacefulness was perfect. It's a very clean campground and very nice clean bathroom and showers. We will go back...

Enjoy beautiful, clean Black Lake at this State Park. Camping, boat launch, etc. are available. Bring your camera, because at the end of a busy day of sun and water, you will be able to take in the amazing sunsets.

Cheboygan to Onaway via Black Lake rural roads was easy and enjoyable. We traveled to Onaway State Park from hotel on Lake Huron near our route to highway travel South. If you're a camper, then there are many places around Park + activity for Lakers...More

Tried camping here but the camp sites are very small and uneven. Many are on steep inclines and have trees in the middle of the site. There was no staff to be found anywhere. The bathrooms are quite old and has not been cleaned in...More

If you're looking for a quiet little campground in a state park that's one of the least-visited in Michigan, this is it. It's located on picturesque Black Lake, and the only reason I don't give it five stars is because I'm a beachgoer and it...More

Should be fine with a pop-up. Just bring something to level with, lots of uneven and rocky sites. We were on the lower part of the campground by the lake but the upper part looked very nice too. Nice campground - enjoy!!
