A winter visit is a must!

Easy walk to view the upper falls, a great brewery on site as well. In the winter the view has the added beauty of frozen icicles on the sides of the falls.

If you have been in the summer you must visit in the winter. To see the falls with all the snow and ice is awesome. It is a short walk to the Upper Falls and even though it just snowed the trail was fine.

Although I've camped at many Michigan state parks, this is one I only visited on a day trip, so I can only review the falls, not the campground. And I'm happy to report they were magnificent! There are plenty of well-maintained walkways that make it easy to get up close to these falls, and by close I mean even a... More

We had a great day today viewing the falls. Beautiful winter day...sunny...We thoroughly enjoyed walking the path to the falls. The falls weren't iced over yet. Some ice but not too much. We've been here before but we can never get enough of God's beautiful creation. It's beautiful here year round.

Don't ask me to pronounce the name but I can say that both sections were great ! You can hike up close to all sections or just view from the well sited & maintained viewing platforms ! We visited on a chilly day and kept warm fast walking to the views. The Lower falls were a bit underwhelming compared to the... More

Very beautiful! The trails that we had time for were wide, paved and well cared for. It's a bit of a walk, but really not bad at all for all ages. After a complete waste of time at the brewery, we didn't have time to explore the area as much as we would have liked. There looked to be some... More

The upper and lower falls are a must see when visiting the Upper Peninsula. They can both be accessed (for a closer view) via stairs; but if stairs are a challenge, the upper viewing areas still make for a great experience.

We were very pleased to visit this park. The paths are wide, the washrooms are clean and the steps are many if you're walking down to view the"upper" falls. Good parking and well signposted. We were pushed for time so drove between the upper and lower falls, would have loved to hike.

We couldn't get to the lower falls as they were working on the pathway, we did manage to get a glimpse of them although the upper falls were open and fantastic as usual.
