We try to walk a few miles everyday, however, when on vakay sometimes it is hard to find a nice area to walk in. This was great and scenery was outstanding. Whether you're a walker, runner or dog walker this is the place to go...More

Everything is here for the swimmer, hiker, skiier and anyone who enjoys the wonders of gorgeous wildlife. Easily one of the highlights of a trip to northern Michigan. Long, sandy beach too.

I can’t think of anything we didn’t like about this state park or the entire town of Petoskey. From the restaurants to the people and the atmosphere it is a wonderful little town!

Spent the afternoon on a perfect August day! Long sandy beach! Water is clear and perfect. The beach reminds me of some of the many trips I've taken to the Cayman Islands!

My family of 5 stopped here while biking from Petoskey to Harbor Springs. Although small, it was a very nice beach and very clean. Would definitely recommend spending a few hours if you're near the area.

You have to pay for a recreational passport from the state (it is a state park), but the $16 is for a full year, and works at any Michigan state park. We enjoyed digging in the sand and looking for different rocks and shells.

Yes. Obviously it’s sandy but there is a cement walkway near the concession stand.

I don’t think so. They aren’t very big at this park.
