Constructed between 1926 and 1929, for $4 million, Meadow Brook represents one of the finest examples of Tudor-revival architecture in America.

We had an excellent tour guide. The house was beautiful as were the surrounding grounds. Would love to go back for the "behind the scenes" tour where rooms are revealed that are "off limits" to the regular tour.

Haven't been on a Holiday Tour of Meadow Brook in over 20 years, but decided to go out with a friend. What a lovely experience. The first two floors of the estate are completely decorated and open for a "self-guided" walking tour. In each major space, knowledgeable docents provided much detail about the purpose of the room and of architecture.... More

A friend and I toured during the Holiday Walk and what a gorgeous place! So beautifully appointed during the Christmas season. Loved the nanny's bedroom and bathroom with all the nursery rhyme tiles as well as the solarium and the children's playhouse and cottage. The place is massive with a whispering room, games room and a beautiful organ playing Christmas... More

Meadow Brook Hall is unusual for Michigan, significant historically, and worth a visit at any time of year. In December, the Hall is decorated for Christmas! Every room is gorgeous and different. It's a great way to get in the spirit of the holidays, and well worth the time. This is a #1 visit in Michigan.

This is a must see if you are in the area of Rochester just north of Detroit city. Almost 90,000 sq ft of opulence but built with a family in mind unlike some very large estates that can seem impersonal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This was the perfect wedding venue for us. I would have loved to have the reception inside but we had too many people and didn't want to split everyone up, but the tent ended up being lovely for our needs. Food was wonderful and the service was great for the most part. The one issue we did have in the... More

Meadowbrook is BEAUTIFUL!! Definitely worth a trip during the holiday season. Decorations are beautiful and it has a rich history in the families of the auto industry.

We have been loyal patron of MBH for over 20 years. We enjoy the Christmas Walk, with the hall decorated in period decor and knowledgable docents explaining the history and customs. We have had our high school kids' prom pictures taken in the gardens. We have supported their fundraising events. This hall is a true gem of culture, history, and... More

We attended a function at this marvelous mansion. What a great preservation of an old building that is so wonderful. The interior is so great. The gardens and outdoors are excellent examples of well attended horticulture.

Go there and at least walk the grounds and the garden when the weather is able. The tour of ins8ide is a bonus
