My friend and I went to the senior day just after Labor Day. The temperature was about 100° that day and, since it was free senior day, we decided to go anyway. It was Packed with many seniors and their caregivers. I have visited this zoo many times over the years. This was the first time that we visited the... More

It is inexpensive and very nice outing for people and out of town guests . The Detroit Zoo is close to the city and I would recommend it to others any time.

We never get tired of visiting the Zoo. Love the newest addition - The Penquins. The whole trip this time was AWESOME with all this new addition had to offer. It was fun seeing the penquins up so close right next to the glass. Other features was an area where you felt like you were on a ship going thru... More

The zoo is always clean and constantly improving. The new Penguin house is awesome really worth the price of admission on its own. The bear exhibit is great fun. The giraffe feeding is cool. We try and go at least once.a year. Love it!

There is nothing like the Detroit Zoo. I have lived a mile away from it and gone a dozen or so times and now it has new attractions. The Polar bear and Monkey exhibits and a place where you are in a tube under water watching the fish swim by. It is so big they have a little train that... More

I have been here several times. Always an entertaining time with plenty to see. The animals are the main attraction and very well taken care of.

I enjoy the Detroit Zoo every time I go there....for special events, Halloween Zoo Boo, Christmas, Hemophiliac walks, fund raisers, and as a 2nd grade teacher...took field trips there yearly.
