Access to the beach from the carpark is either by foot down a fairly steep descent or by rough vehicular track. The vehicle track is signposted 4WD only but any vehicle with decent ground clearance of 200mm or more would be ok when its dry...More

This was a challenging walk from the blowhole to the car park but well worth it. It was extremely cold weather but that did not deter our appreciation of the scenery and at times we had kangaroos around us.

Plenty of kangaroos with sweeping views of coast out to kangaroo island. Need a 4WD to get to a good sunset viewing spot.

At the bottom of a long hike down or a 4wd trek (or even along the Heysen Trail), this beach is a beauty. Have stopped here for a picnic several times just to watch the waves roll in and out. Every time I have been,...More
