One of the few attractions that costs $1. The view is stunning. You can see the shadows of the clouds moving across the trees below. It also affords a great view of the lake and islands. You will have a pretty stout climb, but there...More

Castle Rock is a small souvenir shop with one of the best views for only $1.00. If you can handle the climb ( it is very steep and our legs shook for an hour after the climb) it is worth it. The view is one...More

For only $1 a person this is worth stopping for. Beautiful views once you make it to the top and the climb is not awful. Have a few quarters on hand to enhance the view by using the telescope at the top.

Must see on vacation. You feel like you are on top of the world. You can see the tops to all of the trees and one of the Great Lakes in the distance.

Lots of steps, but only $1 to get a great view of the area. If you're scared of heights at all, don't go. I am not scared easily, and was still reluctant to let go of the railing. It's pretty high. My teenagers thought it...More

Gorgeous views from the top of Castle Rock. This is one of those old school roadside attractions. It's a little run-down inside the gift shop and the stairs to the top. It's definitely from an bygone era. Highly recommend

My wife and 9 year old daughter and I stopped here on our mini getaway to Mackinaw City. I hadn't been here since I was a kid, and was surprised it is only $1 per person to climb about 100 concrete steps to the top...More

No there is not. However in the town of Saint Ignace you will probably find somewhere along the water a place to stop and have a picnic. very small town

You can see the top of the bridge towers, not the entire bridge.

Though I don't know for sure, I would say no only because you have to walk through the gift shop to access Castle Rock itself. I'd give them a call to be sure #906-643-8268.
