Another excellent Plough Day to round off the seasons. Plenty of vintage tractors in the ploughing competition. Five pairs of heavy horses demonstrating ploughing, beautifully turned out. Another visit to the annual Plough Day was again a great day out. So much to see and do. Fabulous heavy horses decked out in all their finery, vintage tractors competing for the straightest furrow, plenty of stalls with a variety of wares to sell....More

Well worth a visit, totally run and maintained by volunteers . There is something for everyone . Lots of farm equipment and mock ups of shops and homes . Lovely tea shop to complete the visit .

Dogs are allowed as long as you are responsible and clean up after them. Visitors are encouraged not to take them into the actual buildings for obvious reasons. There is a drinking bowl near reception that has fresh water... More
