Rented single kayaks for me and a friend at the nearby Seahorses Café across the harbour in the morning and paddled our way through the harbour into the inlet. Pretty darn choppy waters in the harbour but it gets VERY calm and gentle in the inlet. Lots of wildlife like birds and saw an otter. Nesting site for birds were... More

My wife and I and our friends love the hike/walk down to Tod Inlet. It is a very picturesque walk with nice views of Tod Creek. In the winter months the creek runs quite fast. It is a wonderful place for a family picnic. There are outhouses. The parks people are currently upgrading the beach area with gravel and sand... More

This is such a great park for hiking. Some of the view points are incredible. Make sure you have some sort of map of the area. Some of the trails are not that obvious. If you want an easy walk try Tod Inlet. Mackenzie Bite Beach is beautiful too, but it is a good hill to go down to get... More

A forested walk opens up onto waterfront beauty. There are a few places to park and then it's an easy hike through the forest and to the waterfront area. There are several paths too - yours to explore! It's beautiful there - take your camera. It's actually very close to Butchart Gardens and you'll recognize the view if you've been... More

Bring water, food, a camera, dress in layers and you'll be all set. There are some really steep parts at the Caleb Pike end; this is not a hike for beginners or those with little fitness. It's peaceful, gorgeous, offers varied terrain and in October -- very, very quiet!

Situated near Victoria - half an hour drive - so very convenient for a day's excursion. We did one hike - the 10K Jocelyn Hill hike. There are spectaculars views on the way. Not a difficult hike - there are some elevations but not too difficult.

This park is mesmerizing no matter what season you go! You can hike, walk, or stroll for hours. I bring my dog Bella, who loves meeting new friends on the popular trails or to bound up rocky slopes to explore new ground. It has breath taking views, access to swimming spots, amazing ecosystems, and many more amazing things to see.... More
