Enjoyable stop during a weekend in MI
Oct 2020 • Family
We stopped for a tasting our teenage son. We each sampled ciders and beer, but skipped the fruit wine. We really liked the ciders and bought some of the semi dry and some of the pear.

They had non-alcoholic cider as an option so our son could join the tasting.

The team there was welcoming and friendly and very helpful when we were selecting our purchases.

COVID specific comments: They had the flow very well set up to minimize contact and to encourage social distancing while inside. Plus they had some tables on the deck and lawn for larger groups.

Carefree Afternoon
Oct 2020 • Friends
The 4 of us did a wine tasting in the South Haven area today and stop by the Mackintosh orchard. This is a quaint farmhouse with a good size porch where you can sit outside and enjoy your flight of wine or cider. They also have seating in their front lawn area. $6 for 5 tastes is a pretty good bargain. The women running the show were very nice and helpful with wine selection.

Wonderful ciders, wines and laughs!

This is a must every time I visit the area. I love introducing the place to friends. The property is lovely and plenty of seating outside to enjoy company, ciders or wines, and the weather. Inside you can treat yourself to tastings and fun banter with the staff.

Local Must See
Aug 2019 • Couples
We stopped in for a tasting and were entertained for an hour ! Dawn was the perfect hostess, and other customers made it a very enjoyable experience. The fruit wines I tried were all quite different and delicious, but my favorite is the golden russet. Stop in, you won’t be disappointed !

blueberry wine

This off the beaten path winery is a gem in southwest Michigan. We found it several years ago and have enjoyed their blueberry and blackberry wines.

Good cider and cheese
Sep 2018 • Family
They have both ciders and fruit wines here. I dont care too much for the fruit wines, but love the Perry Cider. I wish they had a few more food options. They have a small kitchen, but dont put it to use. They do have cheese and fudge that you can purchase. They also sell jams and other wine knick knacks for sale. Service was on the low end of average.

Not really an orchard
Sep 2018 • Couples
After reading reviews, we decided to stop here after visiting South Haven shops and beach. There was no fresh fruit, hot apple cider, or fresh apple doughnuts. We came later in the day, so the doughnuts were available earlier in the day, and we were able to buy some frozen doughnuts. It looks like mostly a place to stop and drink their products. That is fine, but probably not of interest to parents with kids or those looking for an orchard experience.

Don't miss this place!
Aug 2018 • Couples
Excellent wines, beers and ciders. Nice quant place in the country. Decent pricing. You can spend some time around the orchard. Not much for kids to do here due to the small land plot, but is perfect for a couples tasting. Good location to other wineries.

Pear cider is a new favorite!
Sep 2017 • Friends
What a cute and fun place! We enjoyed tasting various fruit wines and ciders. We also bought pickled veggies. I LOVE the pear cider and have been back for refills on my growler!!
