About
A day of adventure awaits at the National Forest Adventure Farm, whatever the weather. You can meet and feed the animals, explore the outdoor Funfield and have fun in the huge indoor play area. Meet a host of farm animals including pigs, sheep, cows and goats. In the spring and summer you can also bottle feed our lambs. You can cuddle a rabbit or guinea pig and see our more unusual animals such as alpaca, reindeer and chipmunks. We also have daily animal activities including pony grooming, milking demonstrations and egg collecting. The huge Funfield features a range of have a go activities including Go-Karts, assault course, mini golf, jumping pillow and in the summer the Water Splash Out. Why not take a tractor and trailer ride around the farm and look out for the scarecrows? The 3000m² indoor playbarn features a huge soft play area with demon drop slides. There's an under 5's area with a ball pit and giant Lego construction zone. Enjoy eating out or picnicking at one of our landscaped areas on sunny days, or in our airy 120-seat restaurant. In the summer, the Farm is home to a huge 10 acre maize maze. So take on the challenge of 3 miles of pathways, bridges and viewing towers.

    excellent day
visited last weekend and we all had a great time like how everything is set pretty close together and the indoor barn and play area kept us dry from the odd sharp shower we encountered. plenty to keep the young and older kids occupied for hours. the bsby pigs goats and lambs were so adorable and we got to feed the lambs. the canteen style restaurant also did a good range of food with decent portion sizes at a reasonable price which is pretty unheard of these days so hope thst doesn't change ! needed a decent meal after whizzing down the drop slides lol ( I'm obviously a big kid at heart) would highly recommend

    Amazing!!
Would highly recommend the farm for a fun filled day! We were lucky enough to do the Easter trail, which was amazing! Every single member of staff that we spoke to were polite & friendly. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the visit. We will certainly be back!

    A wonderful Easter day out!
We visited for the Easter weekend with grandparents, parents and a 3-year-old and had a wonderful time. The weather was glorious which definitely helped but we stayed 5 hours and could have stayed longer. Our daughter had great fun in the sandz the bouncing pillow, the soft play and the pirate play area, and I was really impressed at the Easter trail at no extra cost! Great visit, we will definitely return!

    A fantastic family day out
As always I read reviews before going anywhere which in hindsight is a good idea but then after I visit most places I realise how moany and fussy people really are. I came here with my mum and 5 year son. We had the most amazing day. There's loads to do. We were there for 5 hours. Because of the iffy weather it was quiet which suited us well. Why are people put off by a bit of rain?? I had the best experience and so did my son. What is people's problem?? We had lunch at the first restaurant as you come in. It was nice. Its never gonna be amazing as its a restaurant on a farm. What are you expecting? Gordon ramsey? My only gripe is the entry price. Why do adults pay the same as children? Surely adults should pay less as they don't play on the equipment. Just my opinion. Thankyou for a fab day 😊

    A great day out
I traveled from Wolverhampton, go via Walsall and then it’s about 30 minutes. I found it ok to find- good signage. There are a few pot holes but nothing to bad as u drive in, I have a new car and I wasn’t freaked out by them. Car park within walking distance, arrived about 10.45am. Staff members very helpful, eg can I really with my mobility issues get up that big slide. I didn’t but if u have the energy and the height it’s worth £5.00. Soft play was good, it could be for older children, eg: 8 years plus. There is a member of staff at the top of the slide helping children get into the sack they slide down in on the rainbow slide that was great help. Small toilets for young children and a low sink, again thank you. There was food and drink I didn’t have any. The tea cups and the activities within easy walking distance. Could do with some steps for the smaller children to look over some of the pens with the animals in. Slight incline as you walk down to the main stage area. The foam party was brilliant- worth the money for this alone! There is a place to have your packed lunch. Toilets outside. Ice cream for sale, one at a very reasonable price, those things matter if u on a budget. Lots of staff, very helpful, chatty and give eye contact, sounds like small things but when u are on your own with a little one it’s nice to have a friendly adult face. If you are looking for Alton Towers then don’t go. If you looking for a nice day out on a farm where it’s likely that they are building up their project, employing people and giving them experiences for their later life, the staff young and energetic then this is the place for you. I have the return ticket and will be going again, lots of toys for the sandpits! Could do with some areas along the way for shade! It wasn’t hot hot but can imagine it would be less enjoyable in the heat! The obstacle course, which looks new was great. I didn’t have time for everything. Thank you we really enjoyed it.

    Nice day out.
Been here before but this was our best visit. There's so much for the children to do..it really is a full day out. As well as all the lovely animals, there's also lots of outdoor play area's, 2 mazes, a huge inflatable slide, go karts ,and they've put a beach up for the summer. There's also a big indoor play area where you can also get food and drink. We went on the tractor ride Which was included in the price... only slight issue was the girl in charge encourages everyone to shout really loud when they see a scarecrow ( and there's Lots of scarecrows) our little one is autistic and this spoiled it for him. Nobody's fault but maybe a warning on the gate or something. Overall a lovely day out. We'll definitely be back.

    Book it NOW
Wow, where do I start, booked online and was about £67 for 4 of us and 2 lots of animal feed and a few goes on the big slide. Got there for opening at 10am and was busy already, car park almost full, felt a little rushed through checking in and not told where maps and feed etc were that we had purchased but was a lot of people for them to process. Huge display board with all day’s activities and attractions was welcome first sight. Not loads of animals to see in comparison to a big farm but still fair amount that they enjoyed petting and feeding them. Attractions included a maze, sheep racing, soft play, outdoor play area, stage for shows, beach and splash pools, huge slide and tractor rides off the top of my head. Beach part was busy as expected when it was 28 degrees but everybody had fun. Foam party was a good laugh and quite high so keep an eye on younger ones. Drinks were fair price, didn’t eat there but outside food portions looked a good size. Also had street food areas outside which were closed this particular day. We were there between 10am and 5pm (full opening times) and actually left with kids in tears as they didn’t want to leave and also didn’t manage to get round everything. Best part of all is you get a free return visit so for a family of 4 once you go back only turns out to be about £8 each per visit which is amazing value for the day. If I’m being really picky, some staff seemed like didn’t want to be there, some extra toilets signs would be appreciated and also having the choice on exit not being forced to walk through gift shop but is a business at the end of the day. 1000% recommend and can’t wait to return despite being an hour away, would give more than 5 stars if I could

Brilliant good for money and you look at the animals for free and go cart, sand pit, crazy golf, maze for free and giant play ar
Very good, it has a lot of extremely good stuff. It may seem expensive but you don't have to pay for go karts, crazy golf, sand pits, corn maze, music maze, bouncy pillow and adventure land thing with death slides ball pits and a bunch of stuff like that and punching bags too. Very good even 17 year old sister and 14 year old brother who are usually embarrassed joined in. Very good, nice staff, has food but you are allowed to take your own (make sure you eat it upstairs) and a extremely reliable alarm service. Staff got out in orderly fashion faster than a bat out of hell. -Joe age 11

    Value for money
Fantastic value for money. 10 year old and 3 year old occupied all day. Mega slide is fun and only an extra £1 per go. Kids enjoyed the paddling pools but loved the foam party at the end of the day. Take a change of clothes and keep an eye o little children as the foam gets quite high.

I absolutely love this place everytime I go! Value for money is so good - they put so many little extras on during the holidays. Today my daughter got to feed the lambs, twice! The staff are all amazing and so kind and chatty! We talked to one lady about the pregnant sheep and she was informative. We had such a fun day, everything is in good condition and the animals are well looked after. There’s so much to do and I just can’t rate it enough!!

Amazing day here with my two kids, 9 and 15. Website completely under sold it so I was reluctant to spend the money on a petting farm but I'm so glad we went, great value.
We were lucky with the weather so did crazy golf, bounced on the giant air bag thing, raced pedal go karts and of course, fed animals. A good half hour in the soft play centre, all included in the price! Definitely recommend.

Booked for Screamfest 2023 and we had a blast!! Fantastic night, brilliant mazes, food stalls, live band on stage under a sheltered seating area, popular Fairground rides and a Merchandise shop…and we wish we had more time to go back around them all and do it again. We brought Standard tickets, tried to upgrade to Fast Pass on arrival but were sold out although the queues for Standard wristbands did move rather fast so it wasn’t too much of an issue. Our longest wait time was no more than 15minutes which was good considering we booked on one of the busiest evenings (Sunday 29th October). All of the mazes were good and the actors/actresses were brilliant but our favourite mazes were Insomnia and Freakout On Tour!! Amazing!! Would also recommend Psycho Circus which is a seated performance as opposed to a maze. And we cannot forget the fabulous Barbara 😂 this character is a legend and an absolute scream!! No matter where you are around the park - Barbara isn’t far away!! You will hear her purring before you actually see her!! And waving everyone off with a megaphone as we left the carparks topped it off!! We love you Barbara…especially Pizza Hut Dave!! We will defo be returning again next year and highly recommend this attraction!! Thanks all for a brilliant evening!!

My 2nd Year at Screamfest and I love it however this year I was disappointed as was Rammed and didn’t manage to see all the attractions due to huge slow moving queues also paid extra for one attraction and it closed ,
I would advise paying the extra to jump the long queues as it’s very frustrating seeing people walk straight passed you into the events ,

We’ve visited for the Halloween event. We paid £5 for child for a wrist band for the long outdoor slide. For the first half hour this was meant to be open it wasn’t. When it was it was poorly thought out. The children go down the slide on tubes. The children or parents have to get these up the steep hill to the slide. This is too steep for children to manage so parents have to run up and down the hill over and over. A conveyor belt to the top with the tubes or a member or staff to bring them back ip would have made the experience fun but without it, the slide was ruined for my kids.

depending on when you visit and the weather this place will occupy you for between 2-4 hours
it is a great place to take the children
there is lots to see and do
but be warned as its a kind of working farm can be a bit smelly and muddy
we did not have anything to eat here (took a picnic in stead) but the coffee and hot chocolate are both very good

Went to Screamfest 2023 it was really awful. There were loads of actors roaming about in myself and my partners faces. I made it clear I didnt want to interract, had to run past in the end to get away. I understand they are there as part of the experience, but when i clearly said "no thank you" and still had people in my face. It isnt everybody that wants that level of interraction. I stopped to tie my shoe lace, and had a woman actor behind me yet again.

Also too many people were sent around the mazes. Not being very tall I was shoved out of the way, nearly slipping and hurting myself.

I rnjoy coming every year but I feel if a person says no, then these actors need to listen. It really ruined the night for me and I will not be returning again.

Bought 2 tickets for screamfest and became ill unfortunately the day of the event and can't get a refund or change the date of ticket without paying an additional cost (more than the price of the original ticket). Definitely won't be attending next year or recommending anyone to go.
