My family spent a day at Nickelodeon with some gift all day passes. The park is clean. It was terribly busy (it was a wkend) and the lines were 30-45 min for roller coasters and most popular rides. In comparison to the past, we noticed the majority of the staff running the rides seemed more focused on themselves and chatting... More

For the first time in my 40 years of flying I had a layover in MSP on the way to Japan. I had heard about the Mall of America but never in my wildest dreams thought I go there. After al it's just a mall...right? Wrong! This massive entertainment palace has so much to offer for just about any traveller.... More

Brought our daughter and her friend for a birthday celebration. The girls had a great time shopping and actually tired before they could do everything. They did Nickelodian rides Sat night at 5pm to get the twilight discount rate. Sat was VERY busy and the girls had 20-30 min wait for each ride. Sunday wasn't quite as busy. The mirror... More

So, I have always heard how incredible this place is, so I popped over while in town on other business. It was pretty cool to see the amusement park and the virtual reality section seemed like a lot of fun. But, of course, it was super expensive to do anything, and the crowds were ridiculous. Every sit-down restaurant had at... More

The mall was impressive, it's huge!! However a lot of the shops are the ones you find everywhere. The children's entertainment was good (expensive from what I remember) but good. They have a crayola store but it was more than I wanted to pay to look around it. The Lego statues were cool. The indoor rides were cool but not... More

There's lots to do at Mall of America with young kids. Tuesdays are a great day to bring your toddlers and young kids as they put on activities for Toddler Tuesdays. The wristbands for Nickelodeon Universe are discounted so it's a fantastic day to go on rides. We visited on a Monday and Tuesday which we would recommend - no... More

Try to stop here every time in the twin cities. 4 levels of shopping with ALL of the stores you would want. The center of the mall has a large amusement area with rides, etc. Many restaurants to choose from like Rainforest Cafe, and others. Also has the standard food court fare. Easy to get to close to the international... More

It's one thing to offer four stories of shops and restaurants under one roof -- really, there are four stories' worth -- but to include a pretty decent amusement park as part of the deal takes Mall of America to a whole new level. I can't imagine a better place for a family to go when the weather is bad... More
