My partner and myself visited for Sunday lunch. The food was very nice. A few suggestions like warm plates and a pesto sauce was served with the salad which I wasnt expecting....as in allergies. But on the whole it was a lovely experience.

This is a very interesting golf course. Once past the first four relatively plain holes the course becomes very interesting. There are holes here which are beautiful to see and interesting and challenging to play. Feature holes abound including the approach over a ravine on...More

Excellent course for all levels, with great views of Manchester and the surrounding areas of Cheshire. Although, its odd to finish on a par 3 hole which is facing away from the club house. The hotel is a beautiful building as well.More

Really enjoyed playing this course. It’s a good test of golf. The new owners have spent a lot of money but it’s still really good value

I'm not a fan of this course, you need one leg longer than the other on a lot of holes and the greens aren't particularly good. Played it earlier this week and firstly it's fair to say that the course has recovered well from the...More

Thank you for your comments ronnh61, and for visiting Shrigley Hall. Our greens team wanted to let the greens settle for a couple of days following tining/dressing, hence the reason they were slightly longer than usual. Regards, Tim

Great but difficult golf course. Suggest hiring a buggy as the course is long and steep but very playable. On site, it is very accessible.

If you are not used to walking hilly long courses, then this is the course for a buggy. We had one and it made life a lot easier.
