We went to Laytown races for my Father-in-law's 60th birthday. The venue is brilliant and you can see for miles a long the sandy beach. We booked corporate tickets which included a sit down meal and wine. The food and service were both fantastic.

Now I am a keen racegoer and this has been on my bucket list for years. I was not disappointed. Very busy but everyone in good spirits. Difficult to describe its unique so my recommendation is go and enjoy!

A unique setting for this 150 year old racing fixture. If you want to be in with all the action of parade ring, bookies and bars, you need to pay your entry fee of €10. Then you can stand on the bank overlooking the race...More

We got to Laytown early and watched the beach being transformed into a racecorse. Amazing! There were horses exercising in the sea, beach cleaners and well organised teams building the corse. The compact punters area was easy to get around, with ample food outlets. Viewing...More

Great day out at the races on the beach. Weather a little breezy, but a unique experience. Don't normally go to many horse races but seeing the horses charge along the sand was wonderful.
