These two days were perfect weather and beautiful views along the ride. Not extremely busy so very lazy drive and scenic view. Lots of little places to stop and visit along the route.

Hiking is the best. The views of Lake Superior are awesome. Many places to stop and enjoy. Quaint shops and restaurants. Favorites are Lemon Wolfe and Northern lights.

Some times Treacherous in the Winter or Spring though. Born and raised in Duluth. Been there done that enough and luckily, got the heck out of that God awful weather in my early 20's! lol

I have recommended the Cliff Dweller near Tofte. The view from the room is fabulous, since you're absolutely on the lake. Breakfast in the morning is very good. Rates are reasonable.
