Skiing here was an add on to our dog sledding holiday in northern Minnesota. The runs were well groomed and you could come down from the top on green, blue or black. It was ok for a day or two days at most but if you really want to ski Lutsen would be a much better option. The only problem... More

This place will keep you on the go summer or winter. If you have children you will not have to hire a babysitter. They will be so busy you will have to rediscover if you are still a parent. Try a stay in the Hexagon facilities. Especially in the summer time.

For a medium sized Minnesota Ski hill, Spirit Mountain is a fine outfit. Great for boarders and skiers looking for an easy day out on the slopes without having to travel too far out of town. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would be great if they rented helmets; we don't ski often so we had to buy one.

This place is huge. Nice big chalet to spread out in. Every time we went down a hill we found something new to go on. Prices are reasonable. Now for the bad part. Bring your own food. Food is expensive, But good. The bad taste I was left with is the attitude of the cashiers. No hi, no Thanks. Just... More

We have visited Spirit Mountain several times. In winter the skiing is decent with fantastic views of lake superior. They also have mountain biking trails/lifts, hiking and my favorite is the Alpine Coaster!! It is open year round and tons of fun for all!

We were in line at the Alpine Coaster at 12:30pm. It took an hour &1/2 to get on the ride one time. Since our group bought multi-ride passes, we got in line a second time. It took over an hour once again to get on the ride. Once on the coaster it is a great ride! It is a lot... More

The kids enjoyed Spirit Mountain. The mini golf is lame, don't bother. The Alpine Coaster, Scenic Lift and Jumping Pillow were a lot of fun. The Zip Line went down for "maintenance" shortly after we bought our tickets, but the staff traded them for jumping pillow tickets, we appreciated that since the did not have to do that. Overall, we... More

Took my Grandson up here on Labor Day weekend,to ride the "Timber Twister". We were not disappointed. The downsides were that there was only one Woman working in the Ticket area at the time, with large families rolling in the Door on top of us,and there was about a half hour wait, which wasn't that big of a deal. The Coaster is... More

The Timber Twister Alpine Coaster is fantastic. Best thrill ride flying down the hill. Timber Flyer zip line was okay. Next time would skip the zip line and do the alpine coaster a couple of times.
