Wonderful.

Soft, warm sand with a view of Lake Superior and Duluth. Spectacular!!! A great place to relax and enjoy the lapping of the waves on the beach.

Almost all of the shoreline we saw up north on Lake Superior was rock, either in the form of sheer cliffs, or smooth stone down at the water's edge. Park Point is the one place I know of in this area where you can relax on a smooth sandy beach right on the lake. It's beautiful for walking, dipping a... More

I love skippering stones, and my arm is sore after visiting this beach. Nice time to chill, was sad to see so much trash on beach.

A very pretty natural area to walk and stare at Lake Superior. It is a swimming beach in the summer, and a great place to see mini iceburgs in the winter before the lake has frozen completely.

Park point is a eclectic mixture of interesting architecture, beautiful home gardens, sand dunes, and a wonderful pine forest hike. It is a great activity for driving tourists, bikers, or run/walkers. It is one of the only places in Duluth where you can run on level ground for 5 miles continuously.

Chill on the sandy beach of Lake Superior. There are many sweet spots and even on the most busy day it's not crowded!

The water is beautiful and ships pass by on their way to port. What a fun place to relax. We just walked along the beach collecting cool rocks, but there were families enjoying picnics and lots of young people playing frisbees and volleyball. Just enjoy the treasure of Lake Superior.

A fabulous addition to an already beautiful city. Park Point is across the Life Bridge from Canal Park. Park in the free parking lot, take your shoes off and get in the sand. This is a perfect place to pack a picnic (or mashed potato Pizza Luce pizza), cooler and a frisbee. Lake Superior is ALWAYS pretty cold, but on... More

It's always fun to take a ride over the Lift Bridge. It seems that every year sees changes on Park Point. Nice spots along the way with picnic areas and benches to sit on. We have driven out on the Point on every visit to Duluth and we've been going there for the past 20 years and we have only... More

I personally feel like this beach is on the Northern Atlantic Ocean. Its very nice with plenty of places to park for free. The water is kind of chilly, but still a sweet place.
