The day we stopped not too many birds were flying by. However, a hawk was captured and we saw it up close up being tagged and let go. Well worth the stop. I bought a hat.

The views from hawks ridge are incredible. Anytime friends come to visit this is one of the first places I take them. It is not crowded and there are plenty of trails to walk on and scenery that never fails to amaze.

We enjoyed Seven Bridges Road on our way up to Hawk Ridge. Great view from Hawk Ridge. We only came here because we were staying with a friend close by. I would recommend going out of you way to go up there though.

Great spot for views over the lake and bird watching. Friendly trails for beginners as well. There are a few scenic spots to stop via car and take photos, but its definitely worth going on foot.
