Million dollar quartet

Great show, enthusiastic actors, as close to historically accurate as we could hope. Awesome professional musical talent!

We get to the Old Log Theater once or twice a year. We always find the shows entertaining and good value. We saw the Million Dollar Quartet yesterday and it had great voices and lots of energy. Mollie Fischer who played Dyanne had an exceptional voice, great dance and stage presence.

My family use to go to the Old Log Theater when I was a child, but I had never returned, as an adult (although I still live in the area). I have been a season ticket holder at the State and Orpheum theaters downtown Minneapolis, so hadn't returned to the smaller theater venues. However, this year we had our family... More

this was our first visit since being remodeled and it looks much brighter and up to date. I really like that they are doing more mainline plays ( we saw Million Dollar Quartet and it was great)..the British farces they were serving up under the old ownership were getting stale. I like that you can bring in a drink to... More

Each year, prior to Christmas, our extended family gets together for one of the Old Log's plays for young people. This year we enjoyed The Reluctant Dragon. As always, they make it humorous, including jokes for kids and adults. The audience is usually filled with children of all ages from babies to teens and unfortunately, the chatter of the very... I went with a group of friends to watch the Million dollar quartet and it was great! The performers were excellent singers. There is a bar to buy drinks and you can purchase supper prior. We stayed for the 2 glasses of wine and one dessert for $15 and it was very good and would highly recommend. We had the... More

We have been to the Old Log Theater several times and are always pleased by the show. This time the production was the Million Dollar Quartet. The music was very good although the story was a bit "thin." There was also a female member of the cast that we couldn't figure out why she was there. She added nothing to... More

We went to see Million Dollar Quartet - what a performance. The Jerry Lee Lewis character stole the show - what energy! The venue is very nice and we may try the restaurant next time. We were not aware that there was a restaurant was adjacent to the theater.

We attended a Sunday matinee of "Million Dollar Quartet, which we enjoyed very much. Seating is comfortable with good views of the stage. The lobby is large and comfortable. Staff was friendly and cordial. We purchased the tickets the day of the performance and received very good seats, saving the processing fee. This theatre is easy to find with only... More

In the Twin Cities area we have so many wonderful theatre options that sometimes the little suburban theaters get short shrift. Excelsior's remodeled Old Log Theatre is a treasure in the West Metro Area. Easy to get to. Easy to park. Great restaurant on site. Good muscial reviews and theatrical performances. This is the perfect place to take your out... More
