This attraction is actually quite small. They do have 3-4 live owls on hand. They also do a short program. I would call ahead if you're interested in the program. I think most people could easily be in and out of this attraction in one...More

We thought we would spend at least an hour here, but found out that the biggest part of the center is the gift shop. No demonstrations were held the day we visited as the Owl Festival was happening. The staff was friendly, and the staff...More

Thanks for visiting, Babu2773. During the International Festival of Owls we hold all live owl programs at the main Festival headquarters, the high school, since we have too many people present to handle them at our current facility. (There are 200-550 people at each program...More

My daughter and I had a wonderful drive along the Mississippi Scenic River Road and visited the Owl Center. The owls were well worth the drive from the Twin Cities and the staff is fantastic. Jo gave a very informative and entertaining lecture!

This is definitely worth the trip if you’re in the area. The people who work here are very knowledgeable and the taxidermy displays are beautiful. If you know anything about owl taxidermy, you know that it is rare and most displays do not do justice...More

Thank you for visiting and I am glad you enjoyed it so much. And it's nice that you appreciate how rare it is to find realistic mounted owls!

This is a small Nature Center without any outdoor part that wants to be a large center someday. Make sure to see a program or you will feel cheated. The program we saw was great. There were also 3 live owls on site.
