Great experience not so great staff.
Really lovely experience, wonderful pizza and friendly staff in the pizzeria. However was ignored by 6 staff members in the cafe next to ice skating when trying to get a warm drink, they all knew we were waiting. But didn't acknowledge us. But apart from that was wonderful we come every year and it's always so fun.

    Stunning show. Brilliant festive event
Amazing light show. Attention to detail and wow factor was amazing. The only let down was the food stalls. Very limited and you needed separate queue for food and a simple bottle of water. Not great with young children Overall amazing evening and will def return. But would like to see a better vendor set up

Fantastic venue - not enough time
Absolutely fantastic venue. Only draw back our ticket was 18.10 and by the time we’d ice skated, Queued for drink n snack and skied the enchanted forest had closed. Very Disappointed there wasn’t enough time to walk around take photographs and let children play.

Prices are brilliant at the park!
The prices were very reasonable, we were impressed. We got a photo frame, a hot choc, an alcoholic koppaberg, a gingerbread and a fruit shoot for £23! Can’t argue with that. The toy from Santa this year was a very big difference in quality compared to last year though, last year my son got a polar bear teddy bear which was lovely. This year it was an elf which looked very similar to one in cheap pound shops/card shops. None the less he loves it anyway and that’s all that matters. The queue could be better managed for Santa, an hour in the cold with a toddler is not ideal. Lots of crying children by the time you reach the front! Maybe someone only allowing certain times to join would be better. Overall a lovely evening!

Great but still had to queue for Santa despite a booked slot.
We had such a lovely time, our 2nd visit to see Santa with you, we find everything great quality and well executed, the new playhive is fab!! Quite pricey to get in (but not massively different to other experiences) but prices when in there are reasonable and all the staff are great. And there's just so much for kids to do, you can literally spend the whole day there. The only challenges we had were with a 6 week old finding somewhere discreet and comfortable to feed wasn't possible in the playhive and the queue for Santa was 50 minutes despite having a booked slot. Maybe you need someone monitoring the entrance to the queue like last year. I asked at the entrance to stockeld whether we could divide and conquer, I queue with the baby and my toddler and husband join us when we are closer and whether I could join the queue earlier, I was told only to join the queue at my slot time 3.30 and we all had to queue together, disappointed that when we get to the front people who had a later time than us had already been marked off meaning they joined the queue before they should (making our waiting longer) the elves even confirmed this. But overall a magical Christmas experience and great to see new lights this year too, nice that you don't rely on it being the same.

Wonderful day, but what has happened to the food?
This is our 6th year of visiting at Christmas and Stockeld remains as magical as ever with lots of new lights this year to enjoy. Even on a busy Saturday it didn't feel too rammed and Santa really took his time to talk to the children and you didn't feel rushed. My only gripe this year was the food in the main cafe. We left the Playhive area as my youngest isn't keen on pizza or pasta thinking we would be able to get a hot children's meal in the main cafe but they seem to have done away with that this year and had a very sparse menu of mainly pies and sausage rolls. For a place aimed primarily at families, you would think child friendly food would be key. Anyway, we cobbled something together from both cafes in the end and overall it didn't spoil what was in the main a wonderful day.

We come every year to stockeld park. As this year we were able to come on a week day we were really excited as my children have autism and find the crowds on a weekend at Christmas unbearable for them. Unfortunately coming during the week also meant alot of things that usually make the experience weren’t open. A lot of the shacks for them to get their drinks and snack at weren’t open, the sand play area which is the only one my daughter in a wheelchair can go in to crawl wasn’t open, the light tunnel we take a picture inside every year was roped off. That combined with the torrential rain meant we stayed an hour with a screaming baby unable to go on anything as it was too wet and slippy for him until making the hour and a half journey back to Scarborough. We were so disappointed the same experience isn’t there on a week day as it is on a weekend and won’t. Pre book next year as if the weather is horrendous you’ve no choice. We didn’t book the play hive as we found it not to be easy enough for our wheelchair user to climb on but it would of been the only place we could of gone for the others in the weather.

We had soo much fun, ice skating and in the play hive! The illuminations were bright colourful and amazing… I wish we could go again! Unfortunately it’s rained all day so we couldn’t go on the park as were too wet - would have been even better on a dry day- maybe next time 😃.

Incredible Christmassy day out. A visit to see Santa is a must! Will definitely be rebooking next year. We did the enchanted forest around 3pm and it was still a bit too light to appreciate it, we would go again but at a later time to see them at their best.

We took our grandson and he loved the play hive and enchanted garden all lit up. We went to a 5.30 booking for the play hive as we could only get in at 5.20 to stockeld park on the Sunday we wanted. The only problem was we didn't know it shut earlier so we didn't get our full hour and half play.
It is very expensive if you want to use everything it has to offer. My advice do an earlier slot to get the full benefit.

Lovely place… the only thing I have marked down on was food and drink as this was closing as we wanted something… quite early when there was still entry to areas until 8.30
