Bad news first. The mountain 9 is in such bad shape that when you use a cart you will need a chiropractic adjustment when done. It is the last of the three 9s to be remodeled. The new river 9 is gorgeous with views that are spectacular and are among the most beautiful if not thee most in MN. There... More

With the amazing combination of spectacular views, attentive staff and a challenging course design this is an experience not to be missed. They offer 3 different golfing experiences combining the unique aspects of this amazing course; mountains, River and the best views of Lake Superior you could hope for. They recently redesigned their River course and are also finishing the... More

I can't think of anyplace I have been that I like more than the North Shore of Lake Superior. While there I always make a point to try and get out for at least one round of golf at SNGC. I love the course, and the surroundings. Usually there are 3 Nine hole courses to piece into 18 holes. The... More

We have visited the course many times when we lived in the area. They have recently improved the course completely redoing the River course, it's fantastic, challenging but very playable at all levels. They have five tee boxes, and you can select those that meet your skill level. Just the beauty of the course makes it worth playing. Built into... More

Fun golf course to play with greens where the ball always wants to head to Lake Superior. The River nine has been redone and is a wonderful improvement. The Poplar River cascades thru several holes.

Has 3 9-hole courses (Mountain, River aand Canyon). Played the Mountain and River courses. Very reasonable rate on a Sunday late afternoon.

My husband and 13 year old son loved this course so much that they decided to continue playing,...and played 36 holes in one day! Great combination of gorgeous scenery and challenging holes! We got a 'Stay and Play' discount coupon for $57 for my husband from our rental at Eagles Ridge.

Unbelievable remodel on the river 9!!! I can't wait to come back. I also can't wait to see what the canyon plays like when it's complete. Keep up the great job up there.

This course was the most beautiful course I've been too yet. On one hole you will see the Popular River waterfall, Lutsen Mountain Ski area, and a gorgeous wilderness view- behind you is Lake Superior. We were waiting for groups because it was rainy all week and it was the first nice day in a while.

The river 9 was beautiful. Hole 2 is difficult with the river to cross. The mountain 9 was very unforgiving. Any slice or hook and the ball is lost to nature. Great views on both. Staff was nice. Got a reasonable rate. I will definitely be going again.
