This is a must see while in Luverne, or worthy of a special trip. Jim Brandenburg is an amazing artist with roots in Luverne. The beautiful, historic quartz building is a gem, located on Courthouse Square, just off Main Street.

Anyone interested in photography would be well served by a visit to the museum. My spouse is the photographer in the family and I was interested in the Herreid Military Museum, both located in the same building. Something for everyone.

Wonderful gallery of Brandenburg's amazing photography, and a few spectacular carvings by another artist also. Well worth the stop.

Glad to see that the Brandenburg gallery has moved to the former historic county building in Luverne. The photos are beautifully displayed and there are docents who are very helpful. The county military museum is also located here and is well worth the stop.
