If you are looking for an interesting way to spend a couple of hours in a serene and talent filled location, visit this venue. It is truly amazing how talented the artists on exhibit are. It is fun to view and to meet others that enjoy this scene as well.

As a premier gallery space in Mankato, the exhibition space is wonderful in a historical building. Not to be missed is the gift shop with local flare with fantastic price points for most budgets. You will glad you visited.

I really enjoy the Carnegie, but I can't give it a higher rating simply because it is very small. They utilize the space well and host a wide variety of exhibits and classes. I love going to their juried art show every year as it really has the range of different types of art all at once, but I've also been impressed by several of the solo exhibits I've seen there. Good for short visits, but don't expect to spend a ton of time there unless you are socializing quite a bit.

Good for a break...an old library turned into a art gallery. It is free to enter and walk around to view the gallery. There is also a small gift shop from local artists. Alot of big items there to purchase and few smaller items. Great to shop local and support local artists.
