Enjoy the walk along the beach from deal castle to Walmer castle, there is a path and cycling path. The beach is pebbly therefore you need pumps on to go in the water. There is no life guard so keep an eye on the kids...More

A slow but very pleasant walk along Walmer beach to Walmer castle. There is a smooth path before the shingle beach for those who cannot walk on the stones otherwise a very nice walk which, on the day I went, was almost empty of people.

Just a mile or so away from deal beach. Lots of pebbles, a little bit steep in areas but another fantastic British beach :)

Yes we were well wrapped up. We take our dog along there at least once a week for a long walk. Today there was a very clear view to the east of the Wind Farm. On a clear day, to the right, France is always...More

After visiting Walmer Castle we did a walk on the beach path towards Deal. It was a very nice walk that we can recommend to do. The sea was very calm, you could nearly skate on it and the sun was going down, long shades...More

A good beach for relaxing, fishing and swimming. Although it's a pebble beach it doesn't stop people enjoying it all year round.
