Hike the waterfall paths, climb on the rocks, overlook the rushing water, rent bikes, have a picnic, play frisbee, hike down the path to the Mississippi river, visit the lock and dam - so much to do, so little time!

A great place to go summer or winter and see the Falls. Summer is best then you can grab food at Sea Salt. Great place to go for couples, families, or solo.

Minnehaha Park was a lovely fall outing for my girlfriend and me. We took great photos in front of the falls and walked all over the park.

The lower walkways were closed after the snowfall (maybe all winter?), but the view from the top was still nice and a light dusting of snow made it even more lovely! Neat icicles formed on the trees by the falls.

We had a lot of fun walking around the falls and the rest of the park. It's a shorter walk than the map makes it seem.

Right in town but a green, peaceful haven of the great outdoors. Plenty of parking, plenty of walking trails, a nice playground, nice shelters, amazing view from the top or below the waterfall, nice restaurant at top of falls, a "tour guide" of the bronze statue accessible from your smart phone, 4 season interest with notable ice formations near the... this is a great place for a long walk or light hike. it is very pretty and even on a hot tay there is enough shaded areas you dont get that hot. the water fall areas were nice and they were the reason we went. even our kids enjoyed it.

I did the WOMEN RUN THE CITIES WITH my sister and Minnehaha Falls as our starting point. The autumn colors were the most brilliant oranges, reds, and yellows. the water thundered over the falls. It is a distinctive landmark in South Minneapolis. There is a charge to park. I ride my bike there often. This summer I and my grandsons... More

I grew up near this attraction and can tell you it is wonderful. The spring the creek and falls are rushing down. The Summer the foliage is full and the walks following the creeks are peaceful. Fall brings out the wonderful colors and winter the ice is like art cascading down the falls. And don't miss the food on site.... More

For true OMG jaw-dropping beauty - go in the winter, and see the frozen falls! BEWARE though - they are dangerous.
