Rent a bike and ride around through Minnehaha Park. The park is beautiful at any time of year. Spring brings flooded waters, summer green, fall colors and winter ice sculptures in the waterfall. This was the first National Park - before Niagara - and now...More

Whenever I have guests from elsewhere, I take them to the falls. The falls theselves are spectacular. Those who want a bit of adventure can climb down and walk under them. There are many easy hiking and biking trails around the park. Lots of places...More

This is a large park with picnic areas, a small restaurant, bikes for rent. You can take a short walk down to the falls. There is a historic home also in the park which looked interesting, but was close. Lots of paid parking.

Get in touch with nature, and walk a little to get to see the falls. Walk further and play in the little water pools where children and dogs can cool off. Bikes for rent are available for early visitors.

Put this place on your list to visit when in St. Paul/Minneapolis. Beautiful park for walking and biking. Beautiful waterfalls for taking photos. Be sure to eat at the fish restaurant.

This is a historic, geologic, and scenic gem. The only true gorge on the entire Mississippi River is right there with a waterfalls, picnic facilities, paths, playgrounds, and some natural and geologic history.

Beautiful park, you can rent bikes, there are lots of trails. Waterfall is gorgeous, the only complaint I have it all of the writing/graffiti on the signs and in the bathroom, I guess you get that everywhere though

From everything I had read, I thought this park would be nicer. The falls was ok and the CCC bridges and buildings were ok, but the place had a general air of being run down and disrespected by the populace (graffiti, worn paths right by...More
