To enjoy the sound of nature, just enjoy walking by the river and listen birds singing then enjoy the fall sound. There is high stairs there that will make you tired and watch your steps because of the mud around the fall.

This is the most beautiful park around Minneapolis, waterfalls, walking, biking and grabbing a bite at Sea Salt. There is something to see in every season, I was just there last weekend to take some shots of the frozen falls and amazed again how beautiful it is.

Whether you want to view the cool waterfall, hike down to the Mississippi, picnic in the park with friends and family, bike around the park, or splash in the wading pool with your kids, this is a great get away right here in the city.

Kids will love playing in the shallow pools. The waterfall is beautiful in all seasons (really impressive when it's frozen). There is a playground nearby that is also fun for the kids

Great place to visit and explore. Has the falls which are always superb; especially in the winter time. In the fall, water levels are low enough to hike out to the mighty Mississippi. Spring, water levels are high, falls are very full. Park has lots of activity and trails. Nearby is the locks/dam you can visit as well.

I really enjoy coming to Minnehaha Park in any season; it's really gorgeous. If you go during winter though, beware of the stairs. They can be very slippery and quite dangerous.

I've been to Minnehaha Park many times over the years. This is a beautiful park with a spectacular waterfall and is a breathtaking sight anytime of the year. Fun for all ages, although if you are coming with young children or an elderly parent/grandparent I would be very careful coming in the winter, as there are stairs and it being... More

The Park is just a small part of the chain that surrounds Minneapolis and has trails leading to Fort Snelling & the Mississippi River & lakes aplenty ! Pretty barren in Autumn but the Falls & surrounding area are worth a wander through !

Beautiful, spectacular, and worth a visit. Our grandma Nana used to take us here and we'd have popcorn & ice cream at the concession stand which is now Sea Salt Eatery (worth a visit, too, long lines but great food).
