We went from the Hampton Inn to Target field using the Skyways. They seem to go everywhere, but not a lot of signage or directions. Many vacant businesses along the way

We were just downtown Minneapolis to celebrate my husbands birthday...it was cool so we went wherever we could via the skyway!! There are a lot of shops and eateries some are not open on the weekends.

I am from the Chicago area and while we have a pedway system, the Minneapolis skyway is phenomenal! You will need a good sense of direction and the ability to navigate the maze - some of the junctions are a bit confusing. Nonetheless, a great...More

The Skyway is a series of above ground interconnected buildings in downtown Minneapolis. It is also convenient when it is raining or snowing. But beware it best to use it from about 7 AM to about 6 PM. It is several miles long in with...More

I was amazed at the friendliness and cleanliness of Minnesota. The Skyway system is amazing; great vision city builders. Everything you need is conveniently located within this system.

The skyway system is a big favorite of mine. It is very convenient and fairly easy to use if you're good with directions. Especially, convenient during the very cold months!!

Allows one to traverse large swathes of the downtown area without venturing outside into the freezing temperatures in winter. The walkways linking buildings provide an above ground clear labyrinth of connectivity which becomes a much-appreciated feature in the colder months - especially when Christmas shopping.

The skyway system is amazing, especially when he temps drop in the winter. There are maps occasionally places to help you get around, but if you're lost just about anyone will help you. Stores and restaurants are available, but most of them close around 5...More

We used the Skyway while staying at The Marquette and accessing shops and restaurants during rain and sleet. The idea behind it is quite genius given the climate in Minneapolis. However, as others have said, the signage is shameful. There are many retailers that are...More

You can use the light rail system, for about $2 each way. You can catch it at the airport and if goes to Target Filed which is just a short walk to downtown.

It is comfortable. We walked in just T-Shirts and were quite comfortable. Great way to get around and not have to lug a heavy coat around when it's winter.
