This is a municipal course that gets lots of play. There are a number of hills so be prepared if you are planning to walk. My particular concern was that the greens were very slow on a recent July Friday morning. When people are used to faster greens, this is difficult to get used to. There is a lot of... More

Great course. Very well kept for a city course. Lots of elevation change which makes for a fun challenge. A few of the holes have long walks between tee boxes but that's really my only complaint. Overall it's one of the best kept municipal courses I've played and a fair price.

This course is metro and always packed. The place can be slow because pace of play and people losing and looking for balls is constant. The course has woods, water and hazards so losing balls will happen. Good golfer know not to keep looking for 10 minutes for a ball! Some of the holes are in great shape while others... More

I was always proud to call Colombia my "home course" in competition season and I'm still proud to frequent this Minneapolis gem. Don't let bad reviews or seasonal maintenance stop you from experiencing this gorgeous course. And bring a camera for the 3rd hole... the view of Minneapolis, especially when a storm is brewing, can't be beat. Breathtaking!

The park side has bow and arrow area available. Has a nice bike ride on the trails and beautiful drive to the St Anthony Parkway.

Handn't been here in ages. The course is definetly more of a challange then it was 30 years ago. Some of the trees have gone from being little twigs sticking up to massive ball eating growths. Its hilly unless you are well fit and looking for a good hike rent a cart. Its one of the few in city golf... More

In good shape - hilly, I suggest a riding cart. they also have a popular facility for your wedding, Bar Mitzvah or birthday party.

The person previous to my comment doesn't know a thing about golf courses. I played this course regularly for four years during my high school and college tournament golf career and never once found it lacking in quality (as they claim). I have played dozens of the courses around the Twin Cities and no where else have I found a... More

Yes, it's nearly end of the season. Yes, they are doing extensive ground repair on two holes. But they never recovered from winter damages. And green conditions are awful. Only handful are in tip top condition. Most are slow, not well maintained. until further notice, I'm putting this course on my black, avoid at all cost list.
