Undrinkable beer
Dec 2020 • Friends
The beer have a really strong buttery flavor to them and the beer is always flat. Consistently let down by this brewery and plan on never returning

Awesome neighbors!
Oct 2020
We stopped by over the weekend, as the brewery is generously receiving non-perishable donations for the Groveland Food Shelf. We walked over with two big bags of groceries and hygiene items and came home with three crowlers. You save three dollars if you buy three crowlers, which is a great deal. If you prefer growlers, you will need to pay a glass fee (essentially buying the container as well as the beer).

I need to find out what the story is on refilling growlers, so I'll be back to learn more!

Great beer selection and service
Sep 2020 • Couples
We stopped in on a slightly sleepy Sunday afternoon. It was pretty quiet. The beertender was very welcoming and answered a couple of beer questions knowledgeably. Beers ran from traditions to some fruited & wild fermented to hard seltzer’s.

Very large taproom with plentiful spaced out seating, as well as tables along both sides of the building outdoors.

A real winner
Feb 2020
We stopped here after visiting the recent motorcycle show at the convention center. It's just a short walk from the convention center and is located in a neat old building. Late Saturday afternoon it was packed and loud but we were happy to sit at the bar. Great beer selection and we especially loved the Pillow Fight hazy IPA. It's dog-friendly and the place was full of mutts, so that was kind of entertaining too. Friendly staff. Food is available to order on-site. Nice vibe and we would definitely come back.

Enjoyed the Experience, and good variety of Craft Beers
Nov 2019 • Couples
My wife and I recently visited Minneapolis and stayed in downtown Minneapolis. While hanging out in the area, we walked over to Lakes and Legends to have a beer or two. The atmosphere and service were terrific! The beer selection was great, and the staff and customers were friendly. We’ve been here twice and will come back the next time we’re in town.

Beautiful facility, fun games, good beer.
Jun 2019 • Friends
Grab your friends, family, and dogs and head to this joint for some good beer and fun games. Nice selection of beer. Our group tried about half the beer selection and we liked them all. The facility has a "game corner" which hosts a giant Connect Four game, giant Jenga, bags, etc. Some table seating outside but move quick because it gets claimed quickly. No table service - must order at bar. Be prepared to wait in line for awhile if busy.

Large, beautiful facility with nice bathrooms. This would be a nice place for a special event.

Unique and Low Key
Jun 2019 • Solo
I was staying at the Millennium Hotel last week and wondered over to Lakes and Legends one evening for dinner and a beer. It wasn't what I expected, but that was really okay. Definitely a unique and low key place.

This is a microbrewery in an old retail space that is much too large for their needs. However, they've gotten creative in multiple ways and made it work. They've got a large bar at the back, multiple seating areas, and outdoor games moved inside. It works well. They don't seem to have a kitchen, so they have partnered with Eggy's Dinner (around the corner) to bring in food.

I sat at the bar and ordered a couple of beers. The beer was okay (not great) and pretty inexpensive. I also went over and ordered a salad from the Eggy's person. It was delivered to the bar about 15 minutes later. The salad was good and fairly inexpensive.

All in all, I enjoyed the experience and will go back if I'm staying in the area.

Great beer
May 2019 • Friends
We stopped in here last Sunday and we really enjoyed the beer options. They have lots of seating inside and some sidewalk tables outside. The atmosphere is pretty low key, and that was perfect for us.

We just wandered in and enjoyed the beer!
Aug 2018 • Couples
As tourists in Minneapolis we walked around downtown ALOT!
We wandered to look for a landmark...now I can't remember what it was but we figured it was too far and we ran across this brewing Company. No TVS they do games. The bartender was informative and the beers were so tasty. Unfortunately they are not available in California!
Stop in there, you will be pleased.
